On Friday, Kamsack RCMP arrested Tre Raphiale Cote, 24, of the Cote First Nation in Regina.
Cote is charged with second-degree murder in the death of a Freedom Gladue.
Gladue was found dead in a home on the Cote First Nation on March 20 when RCMP responded to a call that a man was injured.
Cote appeared in court Monday morning, and will be in Yorkton Provincial Court on June 7, 2017.
