Colin Kaepernick can’t find work in the National Football League.
How dare he use the NFL to protest injustices against minorities in the United States.
Kaepernick sat then knelt during the US National Anthem because he couldn’t stand for a country that he believed wasn’t doing enough to protect minorities.
Seattle head coach Pete Carroll stated Kaepernick should be a starter in the NFL just one week ago as the team searched for a back-up for Russell Wilson.
On Monday, the Seahawks chose Austin Davis as their back-up, leaving Kaepernick likely out of work to at least start the NFL season.
Austin Davis over Colin Kaepernick. Just look up the stats if you have an extra minute. It’s not even close.
So Kaepernick’s crime is trying to draw attention to something that needed attention. Racism in America is still alive and well. See Lebron James’ fence, that was just spray painted with racist garbage late last week.
It’s quite something that teams are so fearful that Kaepernick, who has only tried to do good with his protest, will draw too much negative criticism from their fans.
Meanwhile, drunk drivers, wife beaters and steroid users get cheered on a weekly basis.
I’m glad to see our priorities are in order.
