Saskatoon police are looking into a report of a suspicious person near a children’s park Monday afternoon.
Shortly after 4 p.m. on June 5, officers responded to a complaint of a man watching children at Al Anderson’s Park, north of Hampton Green. The area also has a spray park.
The suspect was allegedly taking picture on his cellphone. He was gone by the time police arrived.
The man was last seen walking southbound away from the park towards Junor Avenue and McClocklin Road in Hampton Village.
Police describe the man as being white, around five feet nine inches tall with a slim build, in his late 40’s with short “scruffy” brown hair and “scruffy” facial hair.
He was described as wearing black pants and a black long sleeve shirt or jacket, and walked with a limp.
Police remind people to be vigilant about their own safety and encouraging the public to notify officers immediately of suspicious persons or activity.
