A Regina man is being sentenced to more than 100 days in jail after stealing a vehicle and dangerously taking off from police.
It was at the end of February 2016 when a vehicle left running was stolen from the 700 block of Garnet Street. Almost two weeks later, police said the vehicle was spotted and the driver took off in a dangerous fashion, and was involved in a hit and run.
Guilty of evading police, dangerous driving and theft of a motor vehicle, David Terrance Dinardo was sentenced Tuesday to 111 days in jail.
Dinardo also had other charges, including failing to stop at the scene of an accident, that were stayed.
