If you’re a fan of country, pop or classic rock music, there’ll be something for you at this year’s Queen City Ex in Regina.
On Monday, Evraz Place unveiled the entertainment lineup.
Three-time Canadian Country Music Award (CCMA) male artist of the year Gord Bamford kicks things off on Aug 2.
Alternative rockers July Talk will perform Aug. 3.
I Mother Earth and The Watchmen team up as headliners for Aug. 4.
Ruth B, an up-and-coming Canadian pop artist known for her hit debut song “Lost Boy”, performs Aug. 5.
CCMA male artist of the year and fans’ choice winner Brett Kissell wraps up the week on Aug. 6.
“We are excited about bringing these talented artists to the Queen City Ex,” said Chelsea Galloway, entertainment and events manager of Regina Exhibition Association Limited, which operates Evraz Place. “Each artist brings something different to the stage, keeping to our commitment of always bringing great entertainment and experiences to our fairgoers.”
The concerts are free with Queen City Ex gate admission. Tickets are on sale now at the Brandt Centre Box Office, as well as online. Admission passes can also be found at Co-op Food Centres and gas bars throughout Saskatchewan.
The concerts will begin each night at 7 p.m. on the Great Western Stage.
