Over 3,000 stuffed animals were tossed onto the ice.
Two children were doused with gasoline and set on fire in La Ronge on Sunday, according to paramedics.
Saskatchewan RCMP said the two kids were injured following an altercation with a third child.
La Ronge EMS confirmed the injured children were 8 and 11 years old. One of them had to be airlifted to hospital in Saskatoon, while the other was taken to hospital in La Ronge.
No information was released as to the extent of the children’s injuries or their condition.
Police said no criminal charges will be laid because the child responsible is under 12 years old.
The incident is now being dealt with by Child and Family Services.
