An 85-year old man has been airlifted to a Regina hospital with serious injuries after his mini-van collided with an SUV on Highway 11, about six kilometres north of Regina at the Exit A turnoff.
Lumsden RCMP and STARS Air Ambulance responded to the crash around 3 p.m. on Friday.
The mini-van was being driven eastbound on #734 when it hit an SUV which was headed north on Highway 11.
The driver and passenger of the SUV, two men in their 80’s, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Northbound traffic on Highway 11 was restricted for about four hours on Friday and people told 980 CJME that traffic was backed up to the Evraz steel mill around 4:30 p.m.
The crash is still being investigated.
