An early morning assault in Regina has one man in police custody.
Regina police were called to 12th Avenue and Angus Street around 5:14 a.m. on Sunday for a report of a man walking in the area with a chest wound.
Through investigation, police found that the 21-year-old man had been assaulted with a bladed weapon and took a 39-year-old man into custody.
The investigation is ongoing and police ask anyone with information to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
