A Regina police officer used a Taser in an arrest made on Saturday night after a report of a domestic dispute.
Police were called to a home on the 3700 block of Dewdney Avenue at around 8:49 p.m. and found an injured woman. Through investigation, police found that she had been assaulted by a man in the home who may have had a knife.
Police arrested the man, 42-year-old Bradley Keith Goodpipe, who became resistant and assaulted two officers. A Taser was used on Goodpipe, who was then treated at the scene by EMS and taken into custody.
Goodpipe is facing charges of assault with a weapon, two counts of assaulting a police officer, and breach of probation. He will make his first court appearance on Monday.
