Another two communities have imposed a fire ban amid Saskatchewan’s dry summer.
Both the town and RM of Pense, located 34 kilometres west of Regina, has imposed a fire ban.
Along with the RM of Dufferin, including the village of Bethune.
This includes all fires that has the potential to create sparks.
Open fires, fireworks and other types of burns are included.
Propane and natural gas barbecues are still allowed.
Fines may be imposed if people are caught not obeying the ban.
The town of Pense will have a ban in place until Aug. 31.
There is no timeline on when the ban will be lifted in the RM of Pense or Dufferin.
Fire bans have also been imposed in Assiniboia and Moose Jaw.
