Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a woman with Saskatchewan ties, who they believe is connected to a recent quadruple homicide in Calgary.
Yu Chieh Liao, who goes by Diana Liao, is said to have played a major role in the events leading up to the deaths of two sisters and a man who were found dead in the city’s Sage Hill neighbourhood, and a man who was found dead on the western edge of Calgary last week.
The bodies of Glynnis Fox, 36, Tiffany Ear, 39, and Cody Pfeiffer, 25, were found in a burned-out vehicle July 10.
The body of Hanock Afowerk, 26, was found in a ditch near Highway 22 and Highway 8 on July 12.
Liao, 24, is described as Asian, with dark hair and brown eyes, five-foot-five and 160 pounds.
According to the Calgary Police Service Facebook page, Liao has ties to Regina, Moose Jaw, Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto. She was last seen in the Moose Jaw area on July 12.
Police say she may also be traveling with an unknown short, black man.
