Two people are dead following a crash on Highway 16 south of Yorkton Thursday afternoon.
RCMP were called to a two-vehicle head-on crash east of Rokeby, 15 kilometres south of Yorkton, around 1 p.m.
The people inside the eastbound vehicle – an 80-year-old man and 78-year-old woman, both from Langenburg – were pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP are not releasing their names at this time.
The only person in the westbound vehicle, a man, was taken to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance.
RCMP said he suffered serious injuries.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
