Saskatchewan broke the summer power use record Thursday afternoon, with 3,419 megawatts of usage.
That beats a record set earlier this month, when a peak of 3,360 MW was hit on July 10.
That record was beat by 88 MW, which SaskPower said is the equivalent of 88,000 homes using power.
