Music, sirens, bagpipes and laughter filled the air as the Queen City Ex parade took place on Monday.
Many people sat on the sidewalk to get a glimpse of the floats — some the size of monster trucks — or to try and get as much candy as possible.
980 CJME was at the parade to get a sense of what people enjoyed about the parade.
Many kids were there for the candy and some wanted to catch a glimpse of Moana.
“The Wa-Wa’s, I just like the little cars,” one woman said.
One woman said she enjoyed the Bright Eyes Dog Rescue because they brought some of the dogs along.
And for one man, he was just there for the bubble gum.
