The search in Yorkton for local teen Mekayla Bali, 18, continued Wednesday. Bali has been missing for more than a year.

RCMP are searching a treed area by Sacred Heart High School, which is near one of the areas where Bali was last seen April 12, 2016.
RCMP said that Bali is still considered missing.
It’s not exactly clear what they expect to find there. Police said a search can take place for a variety of reasons and is just one tool used in investigations.
Just last month, RCMP still believed Bali was alive and had traveled to Seattle or Portland.
Her family is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to her whereabouts.
