Lumsden RCMP responded to a fatal two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
Around 2:50 a.m., RCMP said they received multiple calls of a northbound vehicle in the southbound lane on Highway 11, near Bethune.
Once they arrived to the scene, an SUV had collided with a semi-trailer. The driver, a 41-year-old man from Regina, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
An investigation is underway by the RCMP, the provincial coroner’s office and an RCMP collision reconstructionist.
Mounties said they will not be releasing the name of the 41-year-old.
