Resident afraid following Regina stabbing

A man says a stabbing Wednesday night has left him fearful about his new community.

Regina police said they were called to a home on the 1000 block of Argyle Street around 10:30 p.m.

A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital from the scene suffering from stab wounds.

Police said the injuries were life threatening and that the man was listed in serious condition.

Felix Ledee Gboro said he moved into a home a few doors down from the scene just 15 days ago.

“Last night I saw everywhere was blocked,” Ledee Gboro said. “The police started coming to me (and asked) where I am staying, I said this is my house.”

He said he doesn’t know who lives in the home.

“I’m very afraid, my sister is afraid.”

Police were still in the area early Thursday morning as investigators continued working at the scene.
