A driver is being charged after a man was struck by a motorhome in Regina Monday.
Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Prince of Wales Drive around 3:12 p.m. on Sept. 4.
According to police, witnesses reported the injured man was driving his car on Prince of Wales Drive when he had to swerve, hitting a curb and damaging his vehicle, in order to avoid a motorhome.
Police said the man got out of his car and approached the now-stopped motorhome on foot. At that point, the motorhome began to drive off, and the man held onto the outside of the vehicle.
Police reported the driver of the motorhome braked and the man fell off, causing injury. The motorhome left the scene, but later returned.
Emergency crews attended to a 34-year-old man, who was taken to hospital with injuries.
The driver of the motorhome was charged with failure to stop at a scene of an accident involving bodily harm.
