A Moose Jaw man who just couldn’t take no for an answer was arrested Wednesday morning.
Police said the man was drunk when he entered a home on Carrington Drive just after 2 a.m.
After the homeowner forced him to leave, the man went to another home on the same street, where police said he got into a verbal dispute with people there. According to police, that’s when the man got into his vehicle and drove it into the house several times before taking off.
Police said the man’s vehicle struck a cement retaining wall and several parked cars while he was driving on Wellington Drive and the 1500 block of Vaughn Street. Eventually, the vehicle stopped working so the man ran away.
Police said people in the area followed the suspect to a nearby yard. They called police and he was then taken into custody.
A 22-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving, refusal to provide a breath sample, driving while prohibited, failing to remain at the scene of an accident, mischief to property and several probation order breaches.
