A call about a possible gun led to charges for a 17-year-old in Regina.
Police were dispatched to a home on the 400 block of Forget Street for a report of a weapons offence Sunday.
Police received information that a young man left a store on the 4600 block of Second Avenue with stolen merchandise and indicated in a threatening manner to another person that he was carrying a gun.
Police said the suspect was seen entering a home on Forget Street. Officers arrived and several people were cleared from the home. Neither a gun nor the items reported stolen were recovered.
No one was injured and the 17-year-old man was charged. He cannot be named because of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. He made his first court appearance Monday.
