Political leaders across the country are taking to social media after the terror attack in Edmonton Saturday night.
Despite the incident being considered an act of terror, Federal Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Ralph Goodale told reporters Sunday morning that Canada’s threat level remains unchanged.
Both Goodale and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tweeted out a statement on behalf of the federal government.
In Alberta, Premier Rachel Notley wrote a string of tweets before a full statement.
