Five people from Swift Current are now facing murder charges in the death of Logan Ring last winter.
RCMP said 49-year-old Colin Perrault turned himself in at the Swift Current Municipal Detachment on Thursday and was charged with second-degree murder.
Todd Donaldson, 48, was also arrested and charged on Thursday at a business.
Jolene Denise Epp, 38, appeared in court on second-degree murder charges Thursday morning.
Rebecca Lynn Kuhlman, 25, and 18-year-old Tanisha Lynn Perrault were arrested and charged Monday.
The body of 21-year-old Ring was found in a parking lot at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park in November 2016.
In response to questions about the case, RCMP released a short statement by email saying that more information will come out during the court process.
“I can’t imagine how difficult the past 11 months have been for Logan Ring’s loved ones. Our thoughts are with them during what must have been a very difficult week,” Sgt. Murray Chamberlin with F-Division Major Crime Unit said in a release. “While we can’t provide further details about the investigation, I can confirm that it is ongoing.”
Police also said all five people charged in the murder knew each other and the victim.
