Extra security added to Miranda Lambert show in Regina

Country music star Miranda Lambert is rocking the Brandt Centre Friday and people have been lined up since 6 p.m.

Extra security is on hand to help deal with the lines. Some in those lines have heard the extra security is because of the Edmonton and Las Vegas attacks.

Staff for the show even had to go through their own security check before entering the venue.

Security is checking every person with a metal detector and searching every bag.

Due to the number of people still in line at the start time of the concert, the show’s start was pushed back to help accommodate people getting inside
