A man and a woman are dead after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of highways 38 and 49 in Kelvington Saturday.
When emergency crews arrived on the scene, they found a 98-year-old woman dead inside a white Ford F-150. The driver of the truck, a 66-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he later died.
Greenwater RCMP said the southbound truck failed to stop at a stop sign on Highway 38. It was then struck by a blue semi-trailer hauling gravel, traveling westbound on Highway 49.
The 52-year-old man driving the semi wasn’t injured in the collision.
Traffic was diverted for around seven hours as crews investigated the scene.
No charges have been laid.
RCMP and Yorkton Traffic Services continue to investigate.
