Gas prices are creeping up above a dollar per litre in both Regina and Saskatoon.
On Thursday morning, about half the gas stations in Regina had bumped the price up to $1.01 per litre. It was a similar picture in Saskatoon, with the average price calculated by GasBuddy.com sitting just below the dollar mark.
According to the gas price tracking website, some Husky and Petro-Canada gas stations in Saskatoon were still selling gas at 95 cents per litre early on Thursday.
In Regina, most gas stations were already at one dollar per litre, but Superstore was selling gas at 92 cents per litre.
The average gas price Thursday in the Queen City was sitting at 97 cents per litre, while Saskatoon was up to 99 cents a litre.
Discount gas stations such as Regina Cabs, Railway Gas and Costco in both cities have deals. Some stations in Regina are still below 90 cents.
Gas Buddy is predicting prices will continue to rise.
