A group of Weyburn high school students got to share the stage with legendary rock band Foreigner in Regina Monday night.
The Weyburn STARS Comprehensive Choir won a Jack FM contest to get the chance to take part in the show.
Grade 12 student Cameron MacMurchy actually had tickets to see Foreigner and was in the crowd before getting on stage with the choir.
“I lost my voice singing along in the concert itself and then when I was up there it came back to me then disappeared again,” he said laughing.
Brayden King is a massive fan of Foreigner and when he got off stage he said he couldn’t believe what had just happened.
“Not a chance, I didn’t think this would ever happen and when the contest came along I figured ‘let’s go for it’ and here we are and it was an amazing experience,” he said.
Singing in front of a crowd of thousands of people was a thrill that these teenagers will remember for a long time.
