Several schools in the Chinook School Division are closed Wednesday following wildfires and wind Tuesday night.
All schools in the following communities are closed due to wildfire evacuation orders:

- Val Marie
- Eastend
- Leader
- Burstall
- Fox Valley
- MCCS
- Sidney Street
- Tompkins
- Consul
- Haven Colony
- Tompkins Colony
- Garden Plane Colony
- Frontier
