Three people have been charged after Regina police attended a call for a noisy party and found a gun across the lap of a sleeping man.
Officers were called to the 1300 block of 23rd Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Thursday.
When police arrived at the home, the door was left open and the music was still playing.
Officers saw several people asleep in the home, including one man with a gun across his lap as he slept.
Police seized the gun and arrested six people.
The man with the gun allegedly resisted arrest and assaulted two officers before he was brought under control.
Three people were released without charges.
A 20-year-old man, 17-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy have been charged.
