A 64-year-old Regina man is dead after a pickup truck collided with a semi truck on Highway 13 Monday afternoon.
The collision happened just before 2:30 p.m. about 13 kilometres southeast of Assiniboia.
Paramedics rushed the man to the Assiniboia Union Hospital, where he later died.
The passenger in the truck, a 49-year-old man also from Regina, didn’t report any injuries — neither did the 46-year-old semi driver.
RCMP officers from Coronach and Gravelbourg helped redirect traffic for a few hours while crews worked at the scene.
A collision reconstructionist and Assiniboia RCMP continue to investigate what caused the crash.
Assiniboia is located about 175 kilometres southwest of Regina.
