Three people have been charged following a standoff with Regina police in the 1100 block of Elphinstone Street on Monday.
The standoff between officers and the two suspects inside a home on the block started around 10 a.m., after someone inside shot a gun through a window towards police.
Just before 9 p.m., a man and a woman came out of the house and were safely taken into custody.
Lyall Marlin Anaquad, 42, of Regina was charged with a number of things — including discharging a firearm in a reckless manner, tampering with the serial number of the firearm, forcible confinement and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Jocelynne Mckay, 29, of Regina was charged with failure to comply with recognizance.
A third person, Lyndon Sprague, 36, of Regina was also arrested earlier in the day in connection to the incident. Sprague was charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
All three appeared in provincial court for their charges Tuesday.
