The old Taylor Field marker still stands, but the stadium is barely recognizable from inside the fences.

A single Saskatchewan Roughriders flag waves from the top of a back-hoe in a spot where it once would have been lost in a sea of green.

The shell of the west side grandstand still towers over the site with the pristine Mosaic Stadium visible from across the street. The upper level concrete stands are still in place.

The west grandstand has been part of the stadium since 1978 and it’s now scheduled for a controlled collapse at 1 p.m. on Friday. The public will be allowed to watch from a designated safe zone on the south side.
