Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of Saskatchewan warning a mix of snow, rain and strong wind is expected to hit Wednesday.
The system could dump up to 10 centimetres, or around four inches, of snow in the southern Parklands and rain through the northern grain belt.
A separate cold front will also start to make it’s way into Saskatchewan from Alberta late in the day Wednesday with wind gusts as strong as 90 km/h.
Below normal temperatures are forecast to stick around through Thursday and Friday.
