Five young boys, all under 15 years of age, are facing charges after Regina police found a stolen vehicle with weapons inside.
On Sunday afternoon, officers spotted a stolen vehicle around 12th Avenue and Toronto Street.
Police said four of the boys exited the vehicle on the 2300 block of Quebec Street.
Five boys were arrested on the 100 block of College Avenue, including the four who had left the vehicle earlier.
A search revealed a hammer and a modified firearm with ammunition.
Police said one of the four boys who exited the vehicle was also found to be connected to a theft of another vehicle.
None of the youths can be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
The group included a 14-year-old, a 12-year old and three 13-year-olds who all appeared in youth court on Monday.
