No one was hurt in a collision between a train and a semi near Evraz Steel, north of Regina, Monday morning.
Traffic was blocked for several hours at the rail crossing on Pasqua Street and on Armour Road.

“Based on the preliminary investigation, it appears the train’s crew sounded the horn and applied the emergency brake, but unfortunately was unable to avoid making contact,” a media representative for Canadian Pacific Railway said in an emailed statement.
The train did not derail and there were no public safety issues.
Canadian Pacific Police Service is investigating the cause of the crash.
