The City of Regina declared its first snow route of the season on Sunday.
The snow route is a part of the city’s new pilot program.
The snow route means there will be no parking along designated routes for a 24-hour period which will allow crews to clear primary roads helping to improve the flow of traffic.
Starting Sunday at 6 a.m. until Monday at 6 a.m. there will be no parking allowed on Victoria Avenue between Broad Street and Winnipeg Street, on Winnipeg Street between Victoria Avenue and College Avenue and on College Avenue between Winnipeg Street and Arcola Avenue.
Blue signs with a white snowflake on it will help to identify the areas under the 24-hour ban. Vehicles that are found in the no parking zones will be issued a ticket.
