The Saskatchewan Roughriders are heading East
Ottawa is up next on the schedule in the East Semi-Final and when pressed for a quick prediction on the Green Zone Post Game Show, I stalled. I just don’t know. And that’s what makes these playoffs something to look forward to.
Toronto, Ottawa, Saskatchewan and Edmonton are playing so well going into the playoffs and the two best teams in the league are starting to sputter down the stretch.
Calgary has lost three in a row and Winnipeg has lost three of their last five games, along with an injury to their quarterback Matt Nichols.
The Grey Cup is up for grabs and all six teams have a legitimate chance to hoist the trophy in Ottawa at the end of November.
My mind is telling me that the Riders defence will be able to contain Ottawa like they did for 50 minutes just a few weeks ago and the offence has more than enough weapons to score.
My gut is undecided. But I sure am looking forward to watching the final chapter of this comeback season play out.
