Missing Regina woman found safe after 2 weeks: police

Regina police said a 25-year-old woman who was reported missing Monday has been found safe.

Tiffany L. Tavares is from Regina, but officers noted she does not have a fixed address. She had not made contact with family or friends since Oct. 23, when she placed a phone call.

Police said it’s also not known at this time why authorities were only notified of Tavares’ disappearance on Nov. 6. She was found safe on Tuesday Nov. 7.
