The dark reality of what war truly means came to light for some Regina elementary school students Monday.
After joining in the Queen City’s very first No Stone Left Alone Remembrance Ceremony, more than 60 Grade 7 and 8 students placed poppies on each war veteran’s gravestone at the Regina Cemetery.
980 CJME’s Jessie Anton was there for the lesson in sacrifice.
