The union representing SaskPower employees has rejected the latest offer from the Crown corporation.
Members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers local 2067 voted to reject the recent contract offer.
The contract included a 3.5 per cent wage decrease, with a three-year wage freeze to follow.
The reductions were announced by then finance minister Kevin Doherty as a way to help balance the provincial budget.
The union stated its committed to continuing the bargaining process to achieve a fair agreement.
