Duron Carter decided he wanted to see Justice League in Toronto and decided to invite along some of his friends.
Namely, any Rider fan wearing green.

Rule 1: you must have on Rider Nation gear!!!
Rule 2: refer to rule number 1!!— Duron Carter (@DC_CHILLIN_8) November 17, 2017
“I just wanted to go watch a movie. You might as well have some people that want to be with you in a movie, nobody wants to go to a movie by themselves, it just seems kind of lonely,” Carter said.
Carter put the movie time to a vote on Twitter, but picked the movie himself with some parametres in mind: he wanted the littlest members of the Rider Nation to be able to come too.
Toronto Rider fans grateful
A couple dozen Rider fans cheered on Duron Carter when he waltzed into Varsity Cinemas and paid their way.
Moving from Regina to Toronto years ago, Craig Morton said it’s nice to see his team showing the love out east.
“Sometimes you see them on the road and they wave to you and they appreciate that you’re there, but not like, ‘Oh, we’re going to do something together with the fans before the game,'” explained Morton. “The fact that it’s organized by (Carter) and not the team — that’s unbelievable.”
Those feelings were echoed by former Saskatoon resident Lesley Anne Gough, who said it was surreal to be able to catch a movie with a Roughrider.
“It’s amazing. I can’t believe (Carter) is doing this the night before the game,” said Gough. “It just shows that he’s open to people rallying around him and getting that support.”
Gough added she even brought along a lucky Grey Cup loonie to give to Carter as a thank you for the movie day.
Carter paid for a total of 26 Rider fans to watch Justice League alongside him Saturday afternoon. Each ticket cost $13.50.
