Wind warnings for southwest Sask.

Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for the southwest corner of Saskatchewan.

Leader, Gull Lake, Shaunavon, Maple Creek and Swift Current may see severe wind gusts exceeding 90 kilometres per hour.

Winds at that speed can cause damage to roof shingles and windows.

Severe winds are expected to die down Thurdsay evening.
