Pedestrian hit and killed along Ring Road

A pedestrian has died along the Ring Road after being hit by a semi.

Regina police said they responded Friday around 7:10 p.m. just south of Arcola Avenue in the southbound lanes.

A 32-year-old man died at the scene.

Police are still trying to figure out what the man was doing on Ring Road without a vehicle.

Traffic was blocked for roughly four hours as police investigated.

Charges were not laid against the driver of the semi.
