'Considering the circumstances ... this is best-case scenario,' Cole Cusitar said.
Tough working conditions for a tow company working along Highway 1 Sunday.
Around 10:30 p.m., a tow truck was pulling a semi from the ditch when it was hit by another semi.
The crash led to a stretch of Highway 1 east of Moose Jaw being closed from 10:50 p.m. and re-opened at 1:13 a.m.
RCMP said prior to the collision, eastbound traffic on the highway was reduced to one lane, so the tow company could do its work.
The collision is under investigation with charges pending.
