After nearly 20 years as an MLA, Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall will mark his last day in the legislature Thursday.
Wall announced in August that he was retiring from politics after guiding the Saskatchewan Party to its third consecutive majority government.
First elected as the member for Swift Current in 1999, Wall would go on to win that seat in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2016.
Wall became Leader of the Opposition when he took over as Sask. Party leader in 2004, becoming premier when his party won the 2007 provincial election.
Wall will stay on as premier until January, when the Saskatchewan Party will pick a new leader.
