The man who killed a 28-year-old mother while he was driving drunk was sentenced to jail time Wednesday.
Brendan Sugar was sentenced to three years in prison and has a five-year driving ban in place.
Sugar was behind the wheel of a Dodge Journey SUV that hit the Kia Spectra Adrienne Daigneault was the passenger in on Albert Street in October 2016.
Daigneault was killed instantly and her then nine-year-old son was forced to continue the rest of his life without his mother.
Her fiancé, Eric Sollosy, was also in the vehicle at the time but he survived the crash. He described her as the love of his life.
