Why can’t Johnny Manziel be the best CFLer to ever play?

Tiger-Cats head coach June Jones’ assertion that Manziel would be the best player to ever play in Canada seems asinine but in reality, doesn’t Manziel have the same attributes of Doug Flutie?

There is no doubt about his athleticism, the young man can throw the football and when you talk about accuracy, Flutie and Manziel have very similar numbers in that regard.

But judging by the reaction on Twitter, you’d think June Jones claimed Justin Bieber was better than the Beatles.

Now that would be classified as crazy! But saying he thinks Manziel would be the best is his honest opinion.

Jeremiah Masoli won a lot of games playing a similar style to Manziel and Manziel, I’d argue is a superior athlete to Masoli.

So before you cast shame on Jones for even thinking Manziel could be better than Flutie, let’s see it for ourselves.

I doubt Manziel will come to Canada and light it up like most of you, but you can’t deny he has the ability to be great.
