Police are investigating after a Regina woman was the victim of an indecent exposure incident over the weekend.
According to police, the woman flagged what she believed was a taxi cab Friday night.
Details shared in a now-deleted Facebook post stated after arriving at her Regina home, the driver allegedly asked if he could use her washroom.
She wrote that on his way out, he flashed his genitals.
On Monday, Regina police stated its investigation had determined the suspect was not a licensed cab driver, but was parked in a private vehicle within a row of taxis that night.
“We have established she was not in a cab. It wasn’t a Co-op cab, it wasn’t any kind of cab for the city of Regina,” Sgt. Ian Barr said Monday.
Police didn’t provide a description, however, mentioned there was one given in the report.
People are being reminded licensed cabs will have a driver’s ID hanging in plain sight.
