Regina police are looking for more witnesses to come forward after a man was charged with assault this week.
Around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Officers responded to a physical fight between a man and woman in the area of Dewdney Avenue and Lewvan Drive.
Police said 34-year-old Kirby Allan Boyd was arrested and charged with assault. Boyd made his first appearance at provincial court Thursday.
While there’s enough evidence to lay the charge, police said the investigation is still ongoing.
Officers are now looking to speak to people who saw the incident.
It’s believed that one of the witnesses, reportedly a male, recorded the incident on his cell phone, but never called police.
Anyone who has information on this incident is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
