A man in Indian Head managed to spot his own truck while it was being stolen.
According to RCMP, a man left his home northeast of the town around 10:15 a.m. on Jan 3.
A short time later, while driving, he spotted his own truck in the rear-view mirror.
After confirming that it had, in fact, been stolen, the man called RCMP before following his truck for a while down the highway.
RCMP arrived and began following the stolen vehicle. About an hour and a half later, the truck ran out of gas and police arrested the driver.
A 35-year-old Calgary man faces 11 charges related to the theft including two counts of break and enter, two counts or vehicle theft, theft under $5,000, flight from police, dangerous driving and numerous counts of breaching court-imposed conditions.
