Border officers seize heroin on Christmas Day

Canadian Border Services Agency officers were busy finding packages on Christmas Day, just not under any trees.
Weyburn RCMP were called around 9:45 p.m.after border officers located and seized about 28 grams of suspected black tar heroin.
RCMP arrived at the Port of Regway and arrested a 39-year-old man from Surrey, B.C. He’s facing charges including unlawfully importing into Canada, in this case heroin, and possession of a controlled substance.
